DOLLY PARTON’S IMAGINATION LIBRARY
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and Republic of Ireland.
Marseilles Public Library is pleased to be part of the Explore More Illinois program which allows us to offer our patrons free passes, discounted admission, and other deals from a wide variety of Illinois cultural attractions.
To access the Explore More Illinois website and its offers, simply select our library from the drop-down list and log in using your library card ID. Your "password" for Explore More Illinois will be the last four digits of your library ID number.
Once you log in, you will be able to see the current attractions with offers and deals available through Explore More Illinois. Simply click "Show first available offer" on the attraction you are interested in to see the current deal being offered and the directions for how to take advantage of that deal.

MARSEILLES FRIENDS of the Marseilles Public Library
The Friends want to publish a cookbook. Library card holders (patrons) and anyone from the community are welcome to send recipes. We hope to have enough recipes to print in October. We have decided to collect them in categories by months. So, we are asking for appetizers and beverages during the month of February. Of course you can send any recipe at any time but we want to make sure we have enough recipes for each category.
As to the name? We can't decide so we thought we would ask for your suggestions. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.
We're really looking forward to seeing all of your recipes.
FEBRUARY IS APPETIZERS AND BEVERAGES MONTH. But we will accept any category every month.
